Sarah Barton, M.D., is originally from New Jersey, but has wholeheartedly adopted Seattle as her native city. She did her undergraduate studies at Williams College and then earned an M.D. from Northwestern University. She moved to Seattle in 1995 for an OB/GYN residency at UW Medicine. Initially, Dr. Barton worked in private practice at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, but then moved to Rainier Park Clinic, where she has been the gynecologic consultant for low-income patients for more than 10 years. She is happy to be involved with ISCRM and is excited about the innovative and transformative research that is emerging from the institute.
