The ISCRM Senior Leadership Team (in collaboration with ISCRM leadership) is pleased to announce a dual awards initiative that celebrates contributions to science and to community by ISCRM faculty, staff, and trainees (as individuals or teams).

You can nominate an individual or a team (or self-nominate) using these links: Science Award and Community Award

The ISCRM Contribution to Science Award:

This award honors an individual or team whose exemplary research contributions over the most recent academic year have had a major impact in the scientific community in which they work, with the potential to greatly accelerate the quest towards improved wellbeing for humankind. The purpose of this award is to highlight work culminating in a major breakthrough in a particular year, not necessarily to recognize a long track record of success over the course of a significant number of years. Individuals or teams recognized via this award should exemplify ISCRM’s mission of confronting the root causes of disease through collaboration and innovation.

The ISCRM Contribution to Community Award:

This award honors an individual or team whose exemplary voluntary contributions to community in the most recent academic year have advanced ISCRM’s mission to cultivate an environment conducive to confronting the root causes of disease through collaboration and innovation. Meritorious achievements warranting the receipt of this award could arise from actions improving the community either internally at UW or externally in the public sphere of the people we serve in Seattle, the State of Washington, and the world. This award may recognize the actions of an individual or a team. Recipients of this award should embody ISCRM’s vision of teaching and training the next generation of scientists in stem cell and regenerative medicine, while also educating the public about the use of these technologies in research, and their potential to revolutionize medicine.
