About the ISCRM Service Corps

Three purple hands of different sizes are raised upward inside a purple circle on a white background.Service is an integral part of our institute’s mission and culture. We are committed to improving human health, training future scientists, and educating the public through outreach. Additionally, faculty, trainees, and staff across the institute volunteer significant time and energy throughout the year in many ways, including serving on review committees, supporting outreach programs for middle school and high school students, and creating experiences for members of the ISCRM community.

We call the sum total of these contributions the ISCRM Service Corps.

The goals of the ISCRM Service Corps are to foster community with ISCRM, expand the number of researchers participating in service opportunities, to offer year-round community experience, and to demonstrate values in action.

A group of students gather around a classroom table, some raising their hands and others smiling. A teacher in a STEM Camp shirt leads an activity with papers, a laptop, and science equipment on the table.

There are three ways for members of ISCRM labs to get involved.
