The Randall T. Moon Distinguished Lecture series honors ISCRM’s Founding Director, Dr. Randy Moon and his many contributions to science. Through this annual event, ISCRM invites pioneers and other leaders in stem cell biology to speak here at the campus of UW Medicine at South Lake Union.
In April 2018, the inaugural lecture was given by Dr. Len Zon, Grousbeck Professor of Pediatric Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and Director of the Stem Cell Program, Children’s Hospital Boston. Dr. Zon spoke about his lab’s groundbreaking work on the developmental biology of hematopoiesis and cancer.
