Murry and Regnier Labs – Postdoctoral Position

The Murry and Regnier laboratories in the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine are looking to hire a co-mentored post-doctoral fellow with expertise in molecular biology and/or stem cell biology. Additional experience with small animal disease modeling is preferred but not required. The post-doc will work on a cross-disciplinary project involving gene-therapy and stem cell-based cardiac regeneration that will include genome editing, cardiac differentiation from human pluripotent stem cells and small animal models of infarction and therapy. This position requires a PhD in a relevant biological science discipline or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have high initiative, a strong publication record, and enjoy working in a cutting edge fast-paced team environment. The position also requires computing and communication skills, including proficiency in scientific writing.

This full-time project has recently been funded by NIH and is ready to begin immediately.
