John K. McGuire, MD, is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Seattle CHildren's Hospital and Associate Professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is also Associate Division Chief for Pediatric Critical Care Education and Research and director of the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship program. Dr. McGuire earned his MD from Northwestern University and trained in general pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine at Childrens Memorial Hospital and Northwestern University in Chicago. Prior to joining the group in Seattle, he worked at Washington University in St. Louis.
